We had a crank “jewellery box” mechanism that played the introduction of this tune 47 years ago. It was a baby toy that we played to our first born son. We always loved the tune but never knew from where it came. After 73 years of looking, I have finally found it in this webpage.
Since not playing music scores for almost 70 years I will attempt to recreate it to duplicate the toy’s tune.
