Erik Satie
Erik Satie (1866-1925) is one of the most popular and well-loved French composers of the late Romantic period. His music is known for its charm, elegance, and wit, and he is perhaps best known for his Gymnopédies, a series of three piano pieces which he composed in 1888. He later studied at the Paris Conservatory, where he studied composition with Camille Saint-Saëns.
