Chopin

Fryderyk Chopin (1810-1849) is one of the most popular piano composers of all time. His compositions are known for their emotional intensity and beauty.

Chopin’s music with its melodic and enchanting lines was a huge influence on the piano music scene of his time. He wrote about sixty-two piano pieces, including mazurkas, polonaises, preludes, études, nocturnes,  waltzes, sonatas, ballades, scherzos, impromptus, and many individual pieces

Even though Chopin’s music is normally written to be performed by advanced pianists, his ‘easiest’ pieces such as Waltz in A Minor and Mazurka in G Minor are set at an intermediate level.
