Beethoven
Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 – 1827) was a German composer and pianist who is widely regarded as one of the greatest musicians of all time. He was born in Bonn and began taking music lessons from his father at a young age. As a child, he was a talented musician and quickly gained a reputation as a prodigy.
In his late 20s, Beethoven began to experience hearing loss, which eventually resulted in his becoming completely deaf. Despite this challenge, he continued to compose and produce some of his most famous works, including his ninth symphony and the opera “Fidelio.”
