Where to start if I’m a beginner?

Practice daily for a few minutes using a piano or an ear training app, gradually adding more complex intervals.

It varies per person, but with consistent daily practice, basic interval recognition can take 2–4 weeks, while advanced skills may take several months. Playing entire songs just by ear is an advanced skill and takes even longer to develop.

How often should I practice interval recognition quiz?

Short, consistent practice sessions are most effective. Aim for 5–10 minutes daily rather than long, infrequent sessions. Regular practice helps your brain recognize intervals faster and retain the skill over time.
